The responsibilities of Secondary Education Department
Advise the Executive Director on all activities relating to the Department of Secondary Education.
Manage all internal examinations and examinations namely the National Form II, IV.VI teacher training colleges
Manage, coordinate and monitor the activities of the construction of infrastructure in secondary schools as well as teachers' houses, classrooms, administrative buildings, laboratories, contract and toilets
Manage and coordinate all activities of collection, analysis and data interpretation of the Department of Secondary Education and sends it to stakeholders
Manage and coordinate the activities of the development of the information and sends it to the various stakeholders of the education level of the District, Regional and National
Manage and ensure that students have access to a profession to a level that is best in accordance with the policy of education in 1995 and 2014.
Manage and ensure the discipline of students, teachers and non-teaching staff in schools maintained
Supervise and ensure money is spent Secondary Education Department to follow the rules, regulations, procedures and guidelines of the Local Governments
Ensure materials are available for teaching and learning in secondary schools
Ensure that all secondary school have enough furniture for teachers and students
Prepare agendas and attend all meetings relating to the Department of Secondary Education
Develop implementation reports to the Department of Secondary Education of the quarter and the year and submit them to the various stakeholders of development as well as councilors, regional and national
Prepare budget estimates of the Department of Secondary Education each year.
Receive and allocating stations teachers and employees of the department who immigrated or are employed in Same District Council.
